In 2022/23, I had the pressure to be the advisor of four brilliant MSc projects: 1) effects of intermittent fasting and resistance training on diabetes mellitus, 2) potential iron-mediated therapy for cardiovascular disease, 3) the biochemical basis of jellyfish injuries, and 4) threats in food management. The well anticipated poster presentation event was held on 7 January (Saturday) and we were able to go through a lot of interesting projects among the students from the MSc Programme in Biochemical and Biomedical Sciences.
When I review my track record as the advisor of literature research project in the School of Life Sciences, there have already been more than 50 projects since 2015. I am quite amazed as there was indeed a variety of different topics, suggesting the versatility of my students!
