Although I am not a clinician, I was so glad to have an interesting opportunity to come to Laussane, Switzerland for the 19th Introductory Course in Genetic Counselling in Oncology 2026. It was particularly interesting for me to learn about the clinical aspects regarding the genetic information of cancer patients; which could only be shared by experienced oncologists. With that knowledge and experiences shared, my understanding of oncogenetics was raised to another level, intriguing my curiosity regarding pharmacogenetics for personalized treatments of, for example, cancer and other serious illnesses.
