A new approach to capstone courses

As the coordinator of the capstone courses, such as LSCI4000 Literature Review, in the School of life Sciences, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, we have adopted the distance learning mode. I would humbly suggest one of the highlights of the course to be the oral presentation this year.

On the last Saturday of each term (5 December 2020), we had the oral presentations, which involved up to 70 students presenting online that time; together with each speaker, there were two accompanying teachers. In total, there were over 210 participants, including the technical support staff!

It may be the most complex online class and student oral presentations I have ever handled!
