In my humble opinion, ‘Biochemistry and Diseases series’ could be one of my favourite course series under the Program for the Gifted and Talented. The series is composed of three courses, Biochemistry and Diseases I, II, and III. This year, Biochemistry and Diseases III was offered again on 20, 27 April and 11 May with 22 outstanding students joining us. I have to say sorry to my students because of my other work duties, the course had to be rescheduled to May. Fortunately, we managed to complete the course in the end.
This course series began 2017; which was a bit sooner than another course series related to ‘Applied Biochemistry‘, which was my first PGT course. There were Biochemistry and Diseases I and II at first; Biochemistry and Diseases III was introduced to the series in during the COVID period. Since then, it has been seven years; we went through many ups and downs together until 2024. What remains the same is that there are always many students demonstrating a lot of enthusiasm studying biochemistry!
