I am feeling grateful that I have recently been awarded a Courseware Development Grant (CDG) 2025-2028 with an idea of the application of generative artificial intelligence to facilitate the career development among my students.

Reviewing my career as a lecturer in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2009, I have been awarded two Teaching Development and Language Enhancement Grants (TDLEG), six CDG, one Micro-Module Courseware Development Grant (MMCDG), and one Teaching Development Grant (TDG) as the principal investigator.

With the generous support by CUHK with a funding amount of more than HKD$2.4M over the years, I have indeed achieved a lot; which was absolutely beyond my imagination! In the era of artificial intelligence (AI), I would like to spend some effort about the applications of various forms of AI, especially, machine learning, generative AI, and as well as the more traditional descriptive/predictive AI.
