It is my pleasure to present two posters together with my honorable colleagues in the ‘Teaching and Learning Innovation Expo 2018’ held at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK)
The theme of the two posters was about the pedagogical innovation with interactive virtual reality (VR) technology, which will be applied in the laboratory courses in CUHK Biochemistry Programme.
We proposed to employ VR for the training of 1) immunohistochemistry in the field of cytopathology and 2) Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) in the field of chemical pathology. Both of the laboratory techniques are very popular ones, which will certain bring some benefits to our students. Hopefully, we could continue to develop more VR courseware to further improve our curriculum of Biochemistry education.
