‘Biochemistry and Infections‘ was first offered last year; this year, the course was held again on 27 April and 4 May. In spite of the rainy weather, we had two interesting weekends studying something related to the immunity against infection.

I suggested to offer a three-day course to cover other topics, such as auto-immunity and hypersensitivity; however, due to my tight schedule of, for example, the screening event and the Science Interview 2019, I did not have the time-slot to offer a three-week course in 2018/19. Hopefully, I anticipate that the enhanced version of the course could be offered in 2020/21!
