Science Interview 2019, organized by the Faculty of Science, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) was held on 9 and 10 May 2019. As usual, my panel interviewed ~40 outstanding students; unlike students in the past, who were more concerned about their future career. Students nowadays seemed to be more interested in university education for its own sake, for example, I learnt that they wanted to study specific courses during their four years of university education. Moreover, they also admired the natural and social environment of CUHK. They were anticipating the university life and the activities offered by the colleges.
