The Orientation Day in 2020 was special; as one might have anticipated that no face-to-face activities involving tens of thousands of students could be possible, the virtual orientation day was conducted instead on 10 October 2020 (Saturday).

On behalf of the Biochemistry Programme, I offered some academic consultation; furthermore, I also met some students online during the question-and-answer sessions during the admission talks of the School of Life Sciences.

Personally, I miss the O’Day with offline personal contact in the past very much; let us hope that there will be one day we can re-unit on campus again.
