My STEM courses for Secondary School students have not been affected by COVID-19. Early in 2021, we completed another PGT Winter Program 2020 course titled ‘Applied Biochemistry I‘; and this course series was first offered five years ago in 2017. In 2021, the courses were held online on 23 and 30 January and 6 February. Eighteen brilliant students completed the course successfully. Owing to the challenge of COVID-19 and although my PGT courses were conducted online for up to one year, I still wish my students to gain some relevant knowledge of biochemistry from the courses. By this, they can gain some experience and decide if they are interested; the courses could be considered as successful when the students found them interesting.
